When we planned our family vacation to Branson for the holidays we thought we had checked off all the essentials. We booked our flights, packed our bags, and secured our home. But, the one thing we didn’t realize was we didn’t have anyone in town to watch our Great Dane, Bishop. He’s a large breed dog, is super social, and usually stays with family, so at this point, we were a little stressed out as to how he was going to manage in a strange place for a week.

Fortunately, we found an amazing boarding house here in town! We had never boarded Bishop before, so we weren’t sure what to expect or prepare for. At The Dog House Pet Salon everyone was so friendly and professional. They told us exactly what we needed to do and really cared about our furry family member. They have two locations ; one in the Galleria and one in the Memorial area. Not only do they board your pet, but they also offer dog training, day care, grooming, and have a pet cam to watch your pet LIVE anytime you want right from your phone. This really helped us feel at ease to see him whenever we wanted to since we were gone for five days.

It was so nice to have such a great facility so close to us and offer such great services. We will definitely be forever customers! If you’re about to go on vacation and need a place to board your furry friend I would definitely recommend The Dog House Pet Salon!

Here are some things to consider when boarding for the first time:

• Make sure your pet gets their Bordetella Shot beforehand!

• Bring their pet bed and some toys to play with.

• Bring their food and treats

• Download the Live Feed app to your phone

• Keep an eye on your emails and texts for updates on your pup. They were so communicative and let us know what each day was like for Bishop and we really appreciated that!
